In response to the need in Decatur County for a quality Christian learning center that provides a safe, caring, and educational environment, Little Blessings Child Care is a community ministry of the Bainbridge Church of God. Our mission is to provide a secure atmosphere for an active learning environment and consistent nurturing of the physical and spiritual needs of every child who is a part of this ministry.
Little Blessings Child Care will serve families with children, 6 weeks of age through school aged children. We will be open throughout the year, Monday through Friday, from 7:00am until 6:30pm. We will be closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day. If the school system closes for hurricane or severe weather we will also close.
Little Blessings Child Care has an open door policy. Parents are always welcome to visit with your children and are encouraged to be participants in classrooms.
In order to provide the best security for our children, the premises of Little Blessings Child Care are under video surveillance provided by ADT.
We will not be providing transportation to or from Little Blessings Child Care for any reason.
Little Blessings Child Care uses the Time-Out method for discipline. When a toddler aged child is corrected twice for the same offence the child is required to sit in a specific place for one minute for each year of age. The younger child or infant will be removed or distracted in the case of needed discipline or conflict around another child. No child will ever be humiliated or frightened, nor will food, naps, or toileting be used as forms of discipline. Physical discipline is never used. Loving words and actions are always used with the children, even in disciplining.
